I have been in the insurance industry for the past twelve years, taking over the agency in 2013 from my dad and opening my second location in 2016. Following my dad’s footsteps, he had been in the industry for 30+ years and got me started while I was in college. I got to experience the insurance business from my dad’s point of view and learn from his experiences. I put in the time learning everything I could from my amazing mentors and co-workers. I get excited when a client wants to review their policy and coverage and they understand the value that we can provide to them as their insurance advisor. I see so many situations where clients are under insured or over insured and when I get the chance to look things over I can truly make a difference in their lives either by educating, preventing a financially devastating claim, or save them money.
I grew up in La Habra and went to Sonora High School, which is now right across the street from our office. I didn’t think at this point in my career that I would still be helping the community I grew up in. I went to Cal Poly Pomona University and studied Business/Finance and then settled down with my family, having twins. My son and daughter have taken over my life, and everything I do is for them.
When I’m not working you can find me outdoors or at the gym. I have a very regimented schedule so you can find me working out before work so I can spend time with the family after work. On the weekends, you can usually find me at the BBQ, I love to cook and grill and try different beers from different micro-breweries. I also like to go bass fishing but I don’t do it nearly enough. On a perfect day I would wake up early, get on the lake, turn off the cell phone, fish, and enjoy the moment.
My wife and I are constant supporters of the Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society since we have family directly affected by cancer. We like to get involved in multiple charities throughout the year with our agency and give back where we can.
I’ve been working in insurance since 2002, when I took a summer job at a local agency at the age of 17. In 2003 I got licensed and have been working in the industry ever since. During that time, I’ve worked for three of the nation’s largest insurers, and have been licensed in multiple states. Buying insurance from so many companies has become a cold, faceless experience. I want to bring the human element back into the process for my clients. There are so many complexities to home and auto insurance, it’s my goal to be a trusted resource for answers.
I really enjoy fitness, and all the difference facets of that lifestyle. I also really love music, and spend a lot of time listening to new artists and collecting vinyl records. On weekends, I enjoy the gym, live music, wine tasting, and taking road trips with my wife. I’m also a competitive lifter in the United States Powerlifting Association, with a best meet total of 1305lbs. My goal for 2018 is to quality for bench press Nationals.
I’m active with my church and have served as an usher, as well as helping coordinate our homeless outreach programs and can’t wait to see what kinds of things we can do to better our community.
I have been in the insurance field for over 25 years, working with different providers. I am now the Customer Service Manager for Luitwieler Family Insurance and have been with this agency for over 17 years. I enjoy being able to answer any questions or concerns a customer has regarding their policy and explaining to the customer what their policy covers and recommending coverage based on their need. I get excited when a customer recognizes the value and work we put in for them and appreciates what we were able to do for them.
I love my only son, who is ten and keeps me going and busy, but he is a kind hearted and loving boy. I also really enjoy spending time with my husband and going on walks. When I am not at work, I’m at home helping my son with homework, cooking, or doing house chores like any other mother. I go to soccer practice with my son and spend a lot of time at the games, movies or at family gatherings. I have a secret love for event planning for my family parties. I am very creative when the need comes up especially for my son’s school projects. But, my guilty pleasure is SPICY food, the hotter the better!!
When I get free time, I volunteer at my son’s school and can’t wait to help the community he’s growing up in.
Prior to joining Luitwieler Family Insurance two years ago, I spent one year working in Medicare enrollment, becoming licensed and appointed in every state. I love helping our clients to understand their coverage. The pros of correct coverage and knowing I have helped their lives to make sure they are taken care of when they need us is extremely rewarding. I feel that what I contribute to this office is a sense of structure and organization that directly, positively affects our ability to assist our clients and maintain the needed compliance our field demands.
I really enjoy the outdoors, the beach; watching the waves, feeling the breeze, letting the waves rolling back out to sea, taking my worries with them. I enjoy camping in the mountains, the quiet, fresh sounds and smells of nature, trees, flowers helps me to refocus my inner self. When I’m not working you can find me spending time with my wonderful husband, adorable grandson, teaching my two handsome sons to drive or spending time with my beautiful daughter or awesome parents. I also really enjoy playing with my grandson or taking relaxing drives with my husband to the beach, along the coast or through the mountains; windows down, music blasting, enjoying the time alone with my guy. A fun fact about me is that I used to run a karaoke system in a few bars and have been known to karaoke. I also used to be an incredible artist; airbrushing, pencil work, etc…
I used to volunteer at hospitals, but I haven’t had the time in awhile. My family keeps me extremely busy.
I received my insurance license a little over a year ago but have over 7 years of customer service experience. There is always something new to be learned in this field and I love the experience I am getting. I love establishing rapport with our customers so I can make better suggestions when it comes to their insurance needs. Whether it’s saving money or increasing coverage, having their best interest is my priority. We never know when accidents may happen but it’s gratifying knowing that I was able to contribute to peace of mind in their time of need
You can often find me talking about my two nieces and one nephew who I enjoy spending time with when they come to visit me. On the weekends, you can find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes or getting a workout in the gym or outdoors. I am a fitness enthusiast and love recreating healthier versions of my favorite meals. I absolutely love my four-legged son, Randi! He is a 4-year-old maltipoo and we go on daily walks together.
I like to be involved and volunteer at my church and can’t wait to see all of the exciting things we do to help our community!
